Meine Arbeiten sind vieldeutig.
Je nach Erfahrungsgrad des Betrachters kann sich mein Bild auf verschiedene Art und Weise öffnen und über spannende Facetten seiner Entstehungsgeschichte erzählen.
Wichtig dabei ist nur, dass man sich auf eine gegenstandslose Bildwelt einlässt und meine Malerei als eine originäre Erscheinung wahrnimmt.

Ich verwende verschiedene gestalterische Mittel
wie Acryl- und Ölfarbe, Tusche und Pastell, Kohle und Aquarell.
Bewusst kombiniere ich „nichtkombinierbare“ Materialien, weil mich unerwartete chemische Prozesse beim Malen faszinieren und immer wieder aufs Neue inspirieren. Somit erforsche ich Malerei als ein autonomes Medium im weiten Sinne des Wortes.

Tatsächlich liegt das physikalische Potential der Farbe und ihre Korrelation mit der Form im Fokus meiner künstlerischen Interesse. Eingetaucht in den Malprozess bewege ich mich zwischen der Spontanität und Kontrolle, Bewegung und Stillstand, Dichte und Transparenz.
